I love this chapter, because here, finally, the girls really get to go for it. We see Max pushed to her absolute limit - weakened, imprisoned, outnumbered, and still she won't quit. She is ready to take whatever they can dish out in order to keep fighting, she is willing to fry herself with electricity just to get one more shot at the bad guys. Damn that woman is hardcore.
And Chris gets her big entrance, gets to come howling in like a meteor and be awesome and badass and really throw down. . . sorry, I got a little something in my eye there. I love Chris, and her appearance here just totally chuffs me.
Our campaign for The Golden Mask is going well, and we are at 55% funding. I am hard at work on the next book, and hoo-boy is it going to be fun. After that, I am thinking maybe Steampunk Vampires. What do ya'll think?
