Chapter ten, and finally, Max gets some action.  Pretty much everybody else has been having sex all over the place up to this point, but Max has been restraining herself.  It was interesting writing her first encounter with Johnny, because every Porn Instinct I have said they should get it on immediately - I mean, whoever heard of restraint in a porn story?  But Max informed me she was in no way ready to just jump some random dude.  Part of her character is that she's not an impulsive kid anymore, and while she was tempted, she held off.

Writing so much of this from Max and Chris' point of view has subtly changed the way I write sex scenes, as in general they are not focusing on themselves, but on the guy they are with.  We may see a lot of porn where women are supposed to be attracted to men, but they seem to be attracted for reasons men find manly: they are big and strong, they are musclebound, they have big cocks, etc.  These things are ok for women, certainly, and a lot of women do like them, but they are not the only things a woman looks for.  Writing sex scenes from Max' perspective has forced me to have a different viewpoint, focusing on things she finds sexy and sexualizing males in a way only females are normally sexualized.  It's fun.
