This is the one, the illustration I love the best of all the ones I did for this story.  I took the crosshatching technique from the last one and it made the standing stones look really cool.  I finished everything but the sky, just the eyes drawn there, and I was too scared to touch it for days, since I was afraid I would screw it up and it would be ruined.  I had the idea for what to do, but I wasn't sure it would work.  When I finally worked up the courage to finish it, it looked great.

This chapter is the second battle of the Queen and Ygraine, and I found it challenging to make each one bigger and more dramatic than the one previous.  This time Ygraine faces her mother as an adult, with an adult's understanding of where she comes from and what her power means.  The question is: will it be enough?
